Greening the Blue was launched in 2010. The audience for the website is UN staff as well as external stakeholders with an interest in the UN’s performance on sustainability. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability throughout the UN system and highlight what’s been achieved, what’s happening next and how staff can get involved.

These pages cover the main aspects surrounding the UN’s efforts to go green, what has been done so far and what needs to be done.
